Sherwin Ignacio

Sherwin Ignacio is an Assurance Senior Manager at WBL, where he focuses on delivering high-quality assurance and non-assurance services to clients ranging from small and mid-sized enterprises to large private organizations with multi-billion revenues. Sherwin has experienced across a broad range of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, shipping and logistics, real estate and construction, consumer products, robotics software and technology, retail, automotive, mining, among others. His professional background includes private and public company audits, review engagements, complex group audits, and first-year audits, and employee benefit plan audits.

Sherwin has 18 years of experience in public accounting and industry roles across the United States, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Having lived and worked internationally, he is fluent in English, Filipino, and Bahasa Indonesia, and brings extensive technical expertise in US GAAP and IFRS.

Sherwin began his career at Ernst & Young and later worked with BDO and RSM, where he supported a variety of audit engagements and developed a strong foundation in assurance work. He values teamwork and enjoys mentoring staff, delivering value to his clients, and contributing to improving audit processes.

He holds several professional certifications, such as CPA, CIA and CFE, and he is also a member of professional bodies such as the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

Sherwin earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of the East - Manila, where he was recognized with the Academic Excellence Award.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling locally, hiking, and relaxing in cabin retreats.
